My world of inspiration - Part 3

Roger Federer :

In any sport, a player will have more fans from their home country, little from the other part of the world. There will be few players who got fans from every part the world. But here is the guy, not only spectators around the world but all the opponents also love him and admire him.

A quotation from his top rivalry and current No.1 Nadal:
“Federer is the best player in history, no other player has ever had such quality.”

The greatness of Roger is his consistency. He held No.1 ranking for 285 weeks (more than 5 years) and reached 23 consecutive grand slam finals (almost 6 years). I believe that consistency will definitely make anyone successful in career and life. Roger stopped playing doubles not that he can’t play doubles, but to be more successful in singles. In the initial stages of my career, I was interested in many technologies. I decided to gain consistency in one. I think that decision really helped me.

One more good quality in Roger is Motivation. Once you became No.1 in the world, you can’t have same kind of motivation like in the beginning of your career. But Roger still has the same motivation and never underestimates any opponent. He will go to practice for every tournament.

Whenever he loses a tournament or two, people will say it as end of his career. But every time he bounced back and started winning major tournaments. You call it as mental strength or self-belief. He will never let himself down with the critics.

A person’s life will change with the people they inspired of. I think my decision is right to choose Roger Federer as my inspiration.
