What common man thinks:
- Congress government has failed completely in controlling prices. We should not vote for this party again.
 - It is all because of corrupted politicians.
 - See petrol prices in Pakistan & Bangladesh. It is very low. Only in India why we are paying so much. ( Even though common man doesn't know what is the real prices in those countries) Government should give subsidy in our country.

What actually happened:
- Common man never understood the value of limited resources like petrol, electricity, water etc
 - As per my Googling last year car sales were around 2 lakhs and bike sales were around 8 lakhs. These kind of figures over recent years has increased the gap between demand and supply.
 - Common man never encouraged alternate methods to petrol like using Gas & Electricity. He always gave silly reasons for avoiding them.
 - People started buying cars just to show off. They think that, now we are earning more and we should have a car.
 - Government doesn't have control over petrol prices. Companies have independence to take decision on increasing petrol prices. So there is no point in blaming government alone.

I hope you guys understood the real issue. Stop blaming others and start taking action for your own benefit.
PS: Use bi-cycle if your work place is near to your home. Try using public transport whenever you have chance to use them.
neeku intha time ela dorukuthundi ra.. Vehicles ekkuvaithe fuel rates enduku peruguthai...? i didn'n get u..
ReplyDeleteThat is called demand supply gap. Vehicles perugutunnayi kada ani petrol production ni penchalemu. Unna daantlo adjust avvali. Ee gap ni vegetable market lo chudocchu. okko saari raitulu antha gorrellaga tomato panta maatramey vestaaru. Appudu onions supply taggipotundi. tomato price 1 rupee ki padi potundi. supply takkuva unna onion andariki avasaram. Antey demand undi kabatti onion price 70 rupees ki vellipotundi. Alaagey ippudu petrol ki demand ekkuva kaani supply takkuva.
ReplyDeleteWho cares? Petrol is a khaas luxury. It is not the aam aadmi's commodity. People who are fighting against the petrol hike are fighting for the khaas aadmi. There are people in this country who die for want of water. If a few people feel the heat of the petrol hike, so be it!
ReplyDeleteHike in Petrol Price doesn't give any solution for the loss in market, but it create lot of other issue. why central and state govt tax is more in Petrol, they can reduce the tax rt? Why can't they do that.
ReplyDelete@Anand - The tax was always there. Even if they remove tax nothing going to change. Now the petrol price will come down to 60 and keep increasing from 60/- . Now petrol prices will reach 100/- in next 1 year. If we remove taxes, it will reach 100/- in 2 years. Is that a big difference? This will be a temporary solution. Opposition parties will propose these kind of solutions to put current government in trouble. There is no meaning in doing this.
ReplyDeleteWe have to think of longer term. We shouldn't depend on limited resources.
But that makes a difference, then if the govt. have some plan to go with other alternative thoughts will also give option to every one using other resources like solar and electricity...
ReplyDeleteThe same fault common man is doing for years. Waiting for Government to do something good. And everyone knows nothing going to happen. Common man won't join politics and politician never care for common man. But common man will be keep waiting for something good from politicians. Never ending story ..........................
ReplyDeleteHi, In all the conversations, i am just looking at the words "common man". Vijay, the common man is all about the illiterate persons or everyone? Becuase, as per my knowledge, more population in india is in villages only. And to use electric cars and all there wont be much power supply for them :) to charge their car battery. So, my idea is government has to provide proper power supply and also everyone should be aware of the electric vehicles and its usage. And if we come to the usage of gas, once people starts using gas for vehicles, since even the gas is a limited resource right, i think the same prices hikes will happen for gas also. This is just my understading. What do you say?
